Icelandic boatbuilder Trefjar has delivered a new Cleopatra 33 to father and son Johan and Tobias Solgård who fish from Vågstranda in western Norway.

The new Cleopatra weighs in at 11gt. It has been christened Bajas, is skippered by Tobias Solgård and has started fishing.

Built and laid out for fishing nephrops with traps, Bajas has a deck equipment setup and sorting table supplied by Trefjar, and the midships fishroom is fitted with a spray system to keep catches alive and in peak condition.

The fishroom is arranged for twelve 380 litre tubs, and can also be used with smaller boxes.

Bajas has a 500hp FTP C90 main engine in the aft engine space driving a a ZF V-drive. Electronics are from JRC and Furuno, and include an autopilot linked to the hydraulic side thruster.

There is a heated oilskin store and a toilet with a shower. Accommodation forward provides bunks for three, as well as a fully-equipped galley and mess area.
